Salty Dog was decided to be part of the Arsenal for those that love to wade with rods that allow you to keep an extra rod on your wading belt without worrying it being in the way.  The Salty Dog is a High Modulus blank at 6’0”, Medium/Fast equipped with Recoil guides, EVA split grips and a split Fuji reel seat.  Don’t underestimate the casting distance with this short rod. With our innovated ability to formulate the guide spacing, this rod will surprise you on the casting distance with such ease. With a medium power backbone, this rod is suited for your favorite top water, paddle tails, or your favorite Corky.  This is a great bait cast rod for a single rod wade or if you choose to carry multiply rods while wading.
